On October 13, 2025, Olive Community Development Initiative visited Offa Grammar School in Offa LGA to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child with a strong reminder — girls are not just recipients of development efforts; they are active leaders of change.

OCDI Holds Internal Capacity Building Workshop to Strengthen Organizational Systems

To strengthen internal systems and improve team efficiency, Olive Community Development Initiative (OCDI) organized a two-day internal capacity building workshop for staff on the 4th and 5th of February 2025.

The first day of the workshop focused on organizational policy awareness, accountability, and best practices in NGO administration. Staff engaged in a comprehensive review of internal policies, reflected on their individual and collective roles, and aligned their responsibilities with OCDI’s mission to support women, girls, youths, and other vulnerable groups in the community.

Safe Space Manual Development Workshop

On February 11, 2025, a key meeting took place between the Implementing Partner (IP) and the State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) Team to discuss community engagement strategies. It was decided that community engagement would follow the development of the Safe Space Training Manual, which would be presented to the community for validation after its draft was completed.
