Covid-19 palliative support to survivors of violence

As part of the measures to meet the needs of women and girls during this covid-19 pandemic lock down, Olive Community Development Initiative with support from Global Affairs Canada and Action-aid Nigeria distributed palliatives containing food items and toiletries among women and girls, who were encourage to break the culture of silence surrounding violence against women and girls and seek help to mitigate the risk associated with these acts and prevent future occurrences.

Concerted efforts are being made by the Governments, Civil Society Organizations, the Public Sector, the Private Sector and the family to find a lasting solution to the problem of Malaria.
