OCDI AND WFI PARTNERSHIP MEETING WITH STAKEHOLDERS AT ASA AND ILORIN WEST LGA

Olive Community Development Initiative in partnership with Women Friendly Initiative had a meeting with stakeholders in Ilorin West and Asa LGA to discuss issues pertaining to adolescents and youth, issues about their health about their health and nutrition.

The LGAs were encouraged to make use of budget lines which were already allocated for adolescents to create safe spaces where they can access easily play and get vital information about themselves, a rally followed after the meeting to create awareness and enlighten the community

A 3-day capacity building training for journalists in Abuja, Nigeria organized by Women Friendly Initiative (WFI)

Following the importance of nutrition to the growth of babies, a non-governmental organization, Women Friendly Initiative (WFI), having a dedicated budget line for nutrition programs at the local government level across the federation which would help to address the nutritional gaps created in the health sector and promote the growth of newborn babies organized a 3-day capacity building training for journalists in Abuja, Nigeria.
