Because issues around rights and protection of women and girls such as gender based violence, gender equality, girl child education, women inclusion, empowerment, and voices are all linked with growth and development of every society, OLIVE Household Economic and Livelihood Programme (also known as OLIVE HELP) is our way of providing economic support to women in local communities in Kwara. 
The programme assists in boosting women-owned businesses in order for them to be able to support their families and improve their households. A seed fund of N5,000 (or N10,000 based on performance) is provided to low income earning women as support for petty trading and businesses. The money is returned in 5 bits of N1,000 over a 5-week cycle. A service charge of N100 is paid on weekly returns. This returns is cumulated and used to support women who experienced gender based violence and a part of it is used as running cost for the programme.
