This community TB project was funded by Global Fund through Health Alive Foundation,and implemented by Olive Community Development Initiatives,this program was initiated to help tackle the problem of tuberculosis in communities

Its objective was:

1. To promote behavioral change in the community
2. To improve the timely detection and quality treatment of TB cases
3. To reduce by at least 25% the incidence of TB among PLWHIV

Activities carried out included;community sensitization, advocacy visits,World TB day celebration and quaterly review meetings with community volunteers.

Impacts;

Communities where sensitized on the dangers of TB, thus, reports of TB cases dropped drastically as people were now aware of how to prevent,dectect and available treatment.for suffering patients.
