16 Days of Activism

OCDI, as a member of the National Coalition of Civil Society to End Child Marriage, and in partnership with the Ministry of Women Affairs,  visited Warrah Oja Secondary School to commemorate the 16 Days of Activism. During the event, we engaged students, teachers, and the school counselor in a discussion on ending violence against women and girls.

Key takeaways from the discussion included:

- The importance of respecting each other's boundaries and understanding that "No means No".
- The need for adolescent girls and boys to treat each other with respect and kindness.
- The crucial role of school counselors and teachers in working together to prevent and address violence against boys and girls, both in school and at home.
