OCDI held a supoprt group meeting for female survivors of Gender-Based Violence on Friday 13th of May, 2022. Survivors were able to share their experiences and discuss life issues bothering them at the event.

At the meeting, survivors shared testimonies of the progress they have achieved so far as account of OCDI`s intervention through the Women` Voice and Leadership Nigeria Project, tailored by Action-Aid Nigeria and funded by Global Affairs Canada .

Mrs. M said before now each time she is alone, she was always crying as a result of her and her children being abandoned by her husband, but now she has healed and is forging ahead to ensure that she do better for her children.
