OCDI Participates in Tech4MarketWomen Training of Trainers

The Management and Information System (MIS) Officer of Olive Community Development Initiative (OCDI) recently participated in a Training of Trainers (ToT) session organized by Tech4MarketWomen and sponsored by MasterCard.

The training was designed to build the capacity of selected trainers who will, in turn, train young market women between the ages of 18 and 35 years.

During the sessions, participants received practical knowledge and tools in the following areas:

• Accessing and managing financial grants

• The importance of savings and effective budgeting

• Identifying business profit and loss

• Record keeping and accountability

• Business advisory and support services

By participating in this training, OCDI is now better equipped to cascade these skills to women in local markets. This will empower market women with financial literacy and business management knowledge, enabling them to strengthen their enterprises, make informed financial decisions, and improve their overall livelihoods.

At OCDI, we remain committed to initiatives that support women’s economic empowerment and community development.
